Amazon Prime Video<\/a> has recently added what viewers have declared is the ‘only reality TV show<\/a> that never gets boring.’<\/p>\n

A ‘refreshing take’ on the genre, VH1’s Scream Queens followed aspiring horror stars<\/a> as they competed for a part in the Saw film franchise.<\/a><\/p>\n

Ten aspiring actresses were whittled down one by one after various challenges inspired by classic scary movies in the unique show that ran for two seasons in 2008 and 2010.<\/p>\n

Tanedra Howard, 44, won the inaugural Scream Queens and was awarded the role of Simone Bethson in Saw VI, while season two champion Gabby West played Kara in Saw 3D.<\/p>\n

On Reddit, users had been rediscovering the ‘brilliantly nutty’ reality TV show and were calling for a reboot.<\/p>\n

Among them was Lili_Danube, who said: ‘I wish this show had been a hit because it was so much fun and season 2 was even nuttier. This show was an interesting foray into the BTS of horror.’<\/p>\n

There were several messy parts of it, but that\u2019s what that era of vh1 reality was all about.<\/p>\n<p>Echoing their sentiment, Chambler_93 shared: ‘I re-watch the first season every once in a while. It always cracks me up. Besides, I think it is the only reality TV show that never gets boring. If you’re a fan of America’s Next Top Model, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.’<\/p>\n<p>A now-deleted account added: ‘I remember watching this and absolutely loved it, I remember the girl winning and being in the movies. I thought it was a refreshing take on reality competitions with a cool prize. They got to learn about being in horror movies and gained some acting skills. I wish they continued on with it, I loved it.<\/p>\n<p>Scream Queens is not the only reality TV show to have gripped Amazon Prime Video viewers.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, it was announced <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/02\/21\/amazon-prime-viewers-major-concern-update-most-unique-show-22601947\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hoax show Jury Duty<\/a> was returning for a second season.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"364\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pilotshopworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/SEI_241541137-f166.jpg\" class=\"article-image wp-image-22630289\" alt=\"Amazon Prime quietly adds ?brilliantly nutty? forgotten horror reality TV show\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>Gabby won the second and final season of Scream Queens and appeared in Saw 3D (Picture: YouTube)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>First airing in 2023, Jury Duty followed Ronald Gladden as he participated in a jury but was unaware everyone around him was an actor, including <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/james-marsden\/\">James Marsden<\/a>, who played an insufferable version of himself, and the whole trial was fake. <\/p>\n<p>The solar contractor from <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/san-diego\/\">San Diego<\/a> instead believed he was being filmed for a TV documentary and had no idea that he was the star of the show in the one-of-a-kind programme.<\/p>\n<p>As the trial progressed, events increasingly became more dysfunctional, with the truth eventually revealed to Ronald, who has remained friends with James.<\/p>\n<p>Jury Duty <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/11\/30\/amazon-primes-3-shows-100-rotten-tomatoes-scores-including-a-surprise-21948631\/\">was a massive hit <\/a>\u2013 with viewers calling it \u2018outstanding\u2019, \u2018unique\u2019 and \u2018life-affirming\u2019.It was also nominated for three Emmy Awards, two Golden Globes and also won a Peabody Award.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"515\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pilotshopworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/SEI_241539848-f953.jpg\" class=\"article-image wp-image-22630236\" alt=\"Amazon Prime quietly adds ?brilliantly nutty? forgotten horror reality TV show\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>Fans described Scream Queens as ‘brilliantly nutty’ (Picture: Youtube)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This week it announced the series would be returning, with Variety reporting that it would now instead be set at a corporate retreat rather than a courtroom. It has also reportedly already been filmed.<\/p>\n<p>Despite being fans of the original, which they called \u2018underrated\u2019 and a \u2018gem\u2019, many questioned how \u2013 and if \u2013 a follow-up could work.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018How do they do it twice?!\u2019 user TheBatemanFlex posted on Reddit.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I thought this show was one of the funniest I\u2019ve seen in a long time.
