href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/coleen-nolan\/\">Coleen Nolan<\/a> has revealed she has been diagnosed with a skin condition triggered by the stress of <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/01\/15\/nolans-legend-linda-nolan-dies-aged-65-breast-cancer-diagnosis-22366524\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the death<\/a> of her sister <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/linda-nolan\/\">Linda Nolan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the Irish singer, who shot to fame with Coleen in family group <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2023\/11\/27\/nolans-star-reveals-cant-retire-one-shocking-reason-19889109\/\">The Nolans<\/a>, died aged 65 after being diagnosed with secondary\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/breast-cancer\/\">breast cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday’s <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/loose-women\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Loose Women<\/a>, Coleen, 59, said her skin had gone ‘insane’ and she was covered in a ‘terrible’ rash that was ‘so sore and so itchy.’<\/p>\n<p>After her sister died, the ITV presenter said she booked an appointment with a dermatologist who diagnosed her with eczema.<\/p>\n<p>Coleen said she had never suffered from the condition before and the medic attributed it to stress.<\/p>\n<p>On the ITV show, It was all over Christmas and New Year. <\/p>\n<p>‘Then obviously when Linda passed, I went to the dermatologist and he’s like “Yeah it’s eczema.” <\/p>\n<p>‘I was like, “I’ve never had\u00a0eczema in my life!” He said, “No, but you’re very stressed.”<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"430\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pilotshopworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/SEI_241393651-266e-e1740576301407.jpg\" class=\"article-image wp-image-22629582\" alt=\"Coleen Nolan wearing a green leopard print dress on ITV's Loose Women\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>Coleen said she was diagnosed with eczema after the stress of her sister’s death (Picture: Ken McKay\/ITV\/Shutterstock)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>‘And the first place that stress shows itself or any condition is your skin.’<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/conditions\/atopic-eczema\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NHS<\/a>, atopic eczema (atopic dermatitis) is a common skin condition that causes itchy skin, with symptoms including dryness, itchiness, blistering and redness.<\/p>\n<p>The public health body said the main treatments were moisturising creams and steroid lotions.<\/p>\n<p>After her sister’s death, Coleen posted a moving tribute on Instagram that read:  \u2018I am utterly devastated by the passing of my sister, Linda.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Linda was a beacon of love, kindness, and strength. Rest in peace, Linda. You will forever be in our hearts.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Linda was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and, after six years of treatment, was told she was cancer-free in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>But in 2017, tumours were found in her hip bone and pelvis, leading to another diagnosis of incurable secondary breast cancer.
