href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/noel-fielding\/\">Noel Fielding<\/a> made a surprise appearance on stage at a music gig just over a month after it was revealed that his <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/01\/22\/future-noel-fieldings-dick-turpin-comedy-revealed-stars-shock-exit-22416277\/\">TV show had been axed<\/a> midway through filming.<\/p>\n<p>In January this year, it was announced that <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/01\/21\/noel-fielding-feared-life-filming-scary-stunt-axed-apple-tv-show-22401516\/\">The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin<\/a> \u2013 in which the <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/great-british-bake-off\/\">Great British Bake Off<\/a> host played the titular lead character \u2013 had been halted while season two was in the process of being made.<\/p>\n<p>It was said at the time that production had been halted due to an issue regarding Noel\u2019s \u2018<a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/health-news\/\">health<\/a>\u2019, while a source claimed that <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/01\/16\/noel-fieldings-tv-show-axed-midway-filming-22371639\/\">he said that he \u2018can\u2019t film anymore\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Weeks after his representative confirmed that he would be returning to co-host the next series of Bake Off following supposed \u2018crisis talks\u2019 about his future on the Channel 4 show, the 51-year-old has been spotted in high spirits at a <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/kasabian\/\">Kasabian<\/a> gig.<\/p>\n<p>Last night at Shepherd\u2019s Bush Empire, the British rock band performed in aid of the charity War Child in the lead-up to the Brit Awards.<\/p>\n<p>As Noel appeared on stage, he was met with rapturous cheers and applause from the audience.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/prue-leith\/\">Dame Prue Leith<\/a>: \u2018It\u2019s all kicking off backstage.
