(Picture: Netflix)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For any fans of <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/the-traitors\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">The Traitors<\/a> who&#8217;ve been feeling the void ever since the <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/bbc-2\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">BBC<\/a> series ended this month&#8230; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<section class=\"metro-comment-cta\">\n<div class=\"metro-comment-cta__inner\"><span class=\"metro-comment-cta__text-wrap\"><title>Comment now<\/title><span class=\"metro-comment-cta__text\">Are you planning on watching Million Dollar Secret?<\/span><\/span><a class=\"metro-comment-cta__button\" href=\"#metro-comments-container\">Comment Now<\/a><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>The catch \u2013 at the very start of the game, they each open up a box in their rooms, and one of the 11 boxes contains the whopping million-dollar prize.<\/p>\n<p>For the person who gets their hands on the jackpot box at the start, their task is to hold onto it until the end.<\/p>\n<p>For everyone else, their challenge is to try and figure out who the mystery millionaire is, which they can attempt to do during daily challenges and at dinner, which is when the eliminations take place. <\/p>\n<p>Aka, when they have their very own roundtables.<\/p>\n<p>If the secret millionaire is arousing too much suspicion, they could also rid themselves of the million dollars for the time being, in the hope that they&#8217;ll eventually be able to win it back for themselves.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the competition, there will be &#8216;devilish games&#8217; while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/culture\/tvfilm\/million-dollar-secret-netflix-review-b1218757.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Standard<\/a> described it as &#8216;almost a note-for-note rip-off&#8217;.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"363\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pilotshopworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/SEI_245216212-b031.jpg\" class=\"article-image wp-image-22796727\" alt=\"Million Dollar Secret. Credit: Courtesy of Netflix\/?? 2025 Netflix, Inc.\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>Million Dollar Secret might bear similarities to The Traitors&#8230; but we&#8217;re here for it (Picture: Courtesy of Netflix)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Even the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/articles\/cgr2px2ljlro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BBC <\/a>referenced the similarities, stating in an article: &#8216;Secrets, lies and a cash prize\u2026 sound familiar?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The broadcaster&#8217;s reporter Noor Nanji wrote: &#8216;I\u2019ve had a sneak preview, and can confirm there are a lot of parallels &#8211; from the awkward group meals, to the tearful revelations of why they really, really need the money.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;One thing it doesn\u2019t have, though, is Claudia and her enviable wardrobe. Instead, it\u2019s hosted by British actor Peter Serafinowicz, who told me the game would be \u201chigh stakes\u201d with \u201cendless twists\u201d.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>While we await further news about the <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/12\/sporting-legend-signs-celebrity-traitors-game-plan-mapped-out-22712314\/\">Celebrity Traitors<\/a> that&#8217;s coming to the BBC very soon this year, in our eyes, this show couldn&#8217;t have come at a better time.<\/p>\n<p>Some viewers have already been sharing on social media how much they&#8217;re enjoying watching the new series.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"363\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pilotshopworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/SEI_245216283-07be.jpg\" class=\"article-image wp-image-22796722\" alt=\"Million Dollar Secret.
