Laurence Fox<\/a> has been charged under the Sexual Offences Act after allegedly sharing an upskirting picture<\/a> of TV presenter Narinder Kaur.<\/p>\n

He is accused of re-posting the image to his X account in April 2024 after an argument with the GMB<\/a> star online over politics. <\/p>\n

If convicted, Fox, 46, faces up to two years in prison and could be placed on the Sex Offenders Register.<\/p>\n

Section 66A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 means it is illegal to intentionally share a sexual image of someone without their consent.<\/p>\n

The law specifies that the aim of sharing must be to cause alarm, distress, humiliation, or for sexual gratification.<\/p>\n

Fox will appear in court next month after Kaur, 52, reported the post to the police, having shared previously that she felt ‘violated, humiliated, and degraded’ over the incident.<\/p>\n

The picture was taken in 2009 when the former Big Brother star was getting out of a taxi, captured without her knowledge or consent.<\/p>\n

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: ‘A man has been charged with a sexual offence following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police.<\/p>\n

‘Laurence Fox, 46, will appear at Westminster Magistrates\u2019 Court on 24 April charged with an offence contrary to section 66A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003. <\/p>\n

‘The charge relates to an image that was posted on a social media platform in April 2024.’<\/p>\n

Fox, who shares two children with ex <\/a>Billie Piper<\/a>, has not yet publicly commented on the charge.<\/p>\n
