Tulisa Contostavlos<\/a> has opened up about her exit from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!<\/a> in one of her first interviews since leaving the jungle.<\/p>\n

The N-Dubz singer, 36, became the third contestant eliminated<\/a> from Ant and Dec’s ITV<\/a> reality programme, shocking viewers as many thought she’d be in the final.<\/p>\n

Unexpectedly, she deleted all posts<\/a> from her Instagram<\/a> page upon her exit, and flew back home to the UK<\/a> instead of remaining in Australia with the other stars to see Danny Jones crowned King of the Jungle<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tulisa later returned to Instagram to \u2018clear a couple of things up\u2019 and told her followers that she was taking a bit of time for herself because it was ‘all feeling a little bit much at the moment.\u2019<\/p>\n

She’s now spoken about the moments after her exit, before she left Australia, and the fear she had of ‘exposure’.<\/p>\n

The former X Factor judge told The Guardian<\/a>: ‘I came out, still followed by cameras, all tits and teeth, and it wasn\u2019t until I was on my own that I felt this introvert-overload.<\/p>\n

It was too much.’<\/p>\n<p>She went on: ‘Is this about a fear I have of being in the spotlight? Or is the person I\u2019ve become just not the kind of person that wants fame any more?’<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of choosing to go in the jungle, she told the publication: ‘I had a lot of fear surrounding exposure, and I got to the point where I thought: “Am I holding on to this fear because of what people have done to me in the past? TV show, Series 24, Australia - 02 Dec 2024\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>Tulisa remained off social media and flew back home immediately after her exit (Picture: ITV\/Shutterstock)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>‘But because it\u2019s been a bit of a while for me, I can get overwhelmed quite easily, and I just started to feel a little bit overwhelmed.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I thought, do you know what, I really need to take a bit of time for me and just chill, and this is all feeling a little bit much at the moment.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>She explained that she wanted to ‘archive’ the posts that were published onher feed while she was in the jungle, and would make her own reels of her favourite memories ‘when the time is right’, stating: ‘I haven\u2019t been doing my Instagram, the way that everything is posted and all the random stuff is not the way I do my Insta.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The musician continued: \u2018I just wanted to clear up the reasons why I did that and just be honest, it\u2019s okay to feel a bit overwhelmed.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I\u2019ve been out of the spotlight for a long time and I\u2019m still trying to overcome those things.\u2019<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"1148\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pilotshopworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/SEI_231904129-a9c2.jpg\" class=\"article-image wp-image-22117635\" alt=\"(Picture: Tulisa Contostavlos\/Instagram)\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>The star took to Instagram to clear things up for her followers, explaining she was ‘overwhelmed’ (Picture: Tulisa Contostavlos\/Instagram)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Tulisa outlined that she still has her \u2018little demons\u2019, but that doesn\u2019t mean that she\u2019s going to \u2018go and hide back under a rock for another 10 years\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It just means I need a little bit of time to just process and you know, get right with my thoughts,\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n<p>She finished her video by thanking ITV and I\u2019m A Celebrity for \u2018being really understanding and patient with me\u2019, adding: \u2018Mental health is important and I am super grateful for all the love and support I\u2019ve had.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I just get a bit overwhelmed, I\u2019m a bit of an introvert guys, I\u2019d been in the jungle with people I\u2019d only just met for two and a half weeks straight and then I\u2019ve come out and seen loads and loads of attention and I\u2019m like, woah this is a lot.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I just needed a little bit of a breather.\u2019<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"439\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pilotshopworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/SEI_230082471-a3ce-e1732181027924.jpg\" class=\"article-image wp-image-22036137\" alt=\"Tulisa Contostavlos sitting in the I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! hut. It\u2019s been a whirlwind. Thank you to @itv for the experience and sending so much love to my Jungle Fam before the final tonight.
