JoJo Siwa <\/a>has explained what she meant when telling Chris Hughes <\/a>to \u2018wait 48 hours\u2019 on Celebrity Big Brother<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old has spent the last three weeks locked in the house, where she grew close to fellow contestant Chris, 32.<\/p>\n

The pair\u2019s intense bond led to speculation that perhaps they were more than friends, and these flames were further fanned when it was revealed Jojo broke up with her partner Kath Ebbs at the Big Brother wrap party<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While on the show, JoJo received a letter from her mum Jessalynn, which included a message which said: \u2018The most important thing to tell you is a message from Kath because I know you really miss them the most. Kath\u2019s keen to see you when you get out.\u2019<\/p>\n

After receiving the letter, JoJo spoke to Chris and said she needed to wait \u201948 hours\u2019 before sharing something that had been playing on her mind.<\/p>\n

Now, a few days on, JoJo has clarified what she meant at the time.<\/p>\n

Appearing on The Useless Hotline Podcast<\/a>, JoJo was asked by host Max Balegde about her hardest moment on the show.<\/p>\n

\u2018There\u2019s a moment, where I spoke to Chris and said \u201cgive me 48 hours and I’ll tell you\u201d. What I was feeling in that moment was the hardest because that was when I had a real realisation in my life that I needed to for myself fix personally fast and I needed to handle essentially immediately,\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n

\u2018I just told Chris that little bit, I just told him that little bit because he could again see something was going on and that was something that I had been thinking about since day three and it engulfed me and it was a decision that is not light at all um and I needed to talk about it,\u2019 she added.<\/p>\n

Although some initially believed she might be speaking about Chris in that moment, they now believe JoJo was hinting at her impending break-up with Kath, whom JoJo \u2018dumped\u2019 at the show\u2019s after party.<\/p>\n

Her comments come after Jessalynn hinted at the real reason behind JoJo and Kath\u2019s split.<\/p>\n

Keen-eyed Big Brother viewers on Reddit<\/a> spotted that Jojo\u2019s mum has reposted a video where a fan presented an alternate take on the breakup.<\/p>\n

‘I don’t think JoJo has split up with Kath because of Chris TikTokker,\u2019 littlemissvodka explained. \u2018That’s the kind of narrative that Kath is trying to put across.\u2019<\/p>\n

‘JoJo has broken up with Kath because JoJo doesn’t know who she is. She’s figuring out herself.\u2019<\/p>\n

Kath revealed that JoJo had broken up with them in an emotional Instagram video where she said she was in a \u2018state of complete shock\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018In the last eight hours, I flew [to London] and went to the live show to show up for my partner and support them in their experience and later on, address my feelings of hurt and work through them like all relationships do.<\/p>\n

\u2018But before I could even get back to the hotel, I\u2026 It\u2019s actually crazy\u2026 I went to the afterparty with my now ex and was dumped in the party.<\/p>\n

\u2018I was told there were confused feelings there and they had realised in the house I wasn\u2019t the person they wanted to spend the foreseeable with.\u2019<\/p>\n

Since leaving the Big Brother finale, JoJo and Chris appeared together on This Morning<\/a>, where they spoke to Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard about their time in the house. <\/p>\n

During the interview, Jojo admitted that her time on Big Brother gave her clarity on her life and her relationship. <\/p>\n

publicly, but there were countless things that I was like, \u201cThat’s not something that I should be okay with, and I don’t need to be okay with, and I’m not happy.\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I knew as soon as I got out, I knew I wanted to fix things in my life and make the changes that I needed to make.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>When pressed, if meeting Chris had been the reason for her break-up, she was clear their relationship was \u2018platonic\u2019 while Chris added he saw their strong bond as being a \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/28\/celebrity-big-brothers-jojo-siwa-chris-hughes-went-friends-soulmates-22988370\/\">soulmate friendship<\/a>.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Following the interview, JoJo was snapped arriving at Heathrow Airport in what appeared to be Chris\u2019s oversized grey hoodie and coral beanie.<\/p>\n<p>As she landed in LA, however, the Dance Moms\u2019 star had swapped the casual look for a more glam black sweatshirt (although she kept the beanie) and couldn\u2019t help but smile when reunited with her mum. <\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Celebrity Big Brother is available to stream on
