undergo surgery because a <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/health-news\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">health<\/a> condition from childhood is returning. <\/p>\n<p>The 37-year-old <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/towie\/\">TOWIE<\/a> alum told co-host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/who\/sam-thompson\/\">Sam Thompson<\/a>, 32, in the latest episode of their <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/podcasts\/\">podcast<\/a> that his friend had spotted an issue with his eye. <\/p>\n<p>He revealed: ‘I may have to go back to having an eye patch.’<\/p>\n<p>The podcaster continued: ‘I’m going to tell the truth here.<\/p>\n<p>‘I used to be called Pirate Pete, it’s a weird nickname, but actually it was my mum that first called me that when I was a kid because I had a lazy eye when I used to get tired.’<\/p>\n<p>Sam laughed at this revelation, to which Pete responded,
