Sung in a mix of English and Italian, it refers to coffee-drinking, spaghetti-eating mafiosi.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Ciao bella, I\u2019m Tomaso, addicted to tobacco. Mi like mi coff\u00e8 very importante,\u2019 the first verse begins.<\/p>\n<p>He later goes on, \u2018Mi money numeroso, I work around the clocko. (Photo by Peter White\/Getty Images)\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>Tommy is also a model and fashion designer (Picture: Peter White\/ Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Becoming known for sexually explicit lytic themes and provocative music videos, he\u2019s gone on to work with Suicideboys and Diplo and perform at festivals like Glastonbury, Sziget and Roskilde.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past five years he\u2019s also carved out a career as a model, walking the runway for brands including Rick Owens, Loewe, Balenciaga, Diesel and Maison Margiela and also launching his own clothing line.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s also an artist \u2013 working in other mediums including sculpture and painting.<\/p>\n<p>In November last year, following a public vote, he was chosen to represent his country at Eurovision 2025. It has something magical. International Woolmark Prize 2023 At Le Petit Palais, Paris, France - 15 May 2023\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>He&#8217;s been in hot water before (Picture: Berzane Nasser\/ ABACA\/ Rex\/ Shutterstock)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Just a week after Tommy was selected to compete in Eurovision, he found himself in hot water when releasing a song that took aim at the European Broadcasting Union, which produces the song contest.<\/p>\n<p>The song United By Music was a collaboration with Joost Klein, who represented the Netherlands at Eurovision 2024 but was disqualified before the final due to a backstage incident during the semi-final.<\/p>\n<p>Their song contained the lyrics \u2018f*** the EBU\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Soon after Karmel Killandi, head of entertainment at Estonian broadcaster ERR, revealed Tommy had met with the board of the ERR.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We got an inquiry from the EBU and immediately explained that the men are indeed friends, but this sentence about the EBU was sung by Joost, who may be angry with the EBU because of last year\u2019s disqualification, where he was not found guilty,\u2019 Killandi said, as reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/eurovoix.com\/2025\/04\/16\/estonia-tommy-cash-meet-err-board-over-joost-klein-collaboration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Eurovoix News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018At the request of the EBU, the board of ERR met with Tommy face-to-face on this topic as well. Also with the Eurovision fandom, the song can\u2019t stay in the middle. Mostly I see all love, but if you don\u2019t like it, you don\u2019t like it, and that\u2019s the best: that\u2019s when people talk about it, when art works. It really touches you or moves you or makes you feel. If it\u2019s in the middle, it doesn\u2019t work.
