Harry Potter star Rupert Grint confirmed the arrival of his second child with long-term girlfriend Georgia Groome.
The exciting news comes five years after the birth of the couple’s eldest daughter, Wednesday.
Child actor Rupert, who played Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise, was seen out and about with the new baby in Hampstead on Sunday.
He later took to Instagram to break the news on his own profile, uploading a photo of the newborn lying inside a leopard-print fleece and wearing a grey cardigan.
She also wore a white one-piece with her name on it, Goldie, in, of course, gold lettering.
In his caption, Rupert seemingly poked fun at how the news had already leaked, writing: ‘Secret Child Slightly Revealed’ Introducing Goldie G. Grint. ⭐️ A 10/10 baby (so far)’

‘Shout out to @alex.digesu for always delivering 🫡’, he added, praising their doctor.
The couple were quickly inundated with congratulatory messages from fans celebrating the arrival of ‘another member of the Weasley household’.
In pictures obtained by The Sun earlier today, the new parents were also seen cuddling the infant, who appears to have inherited Rupert’s Weasley-esque red hair.
Georgia—known for her role in Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging—and Rupert have been together since 2011 but have largely kept their relationship private.
Rupert first joined Instagram in 2020 to announce the birth of his first child, almost immediately racking up a million followers (he now has 5.3million).

He wrote at the time: ‘Hey Instagram….only 10 years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram! Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert.’
While the family keeps things private, he did reveal one of Wednesday’s surprising obsessions during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The Driving Lessons star explained he was living in the UK after a stint in the US, saying his firstborn child was ‘struggling’ to adjust to the change.
Rupert shared that she had ‘spent most of her time’ in America, so she was missing home comforts, among them Hoagies and, er, Target.
Asked about Wednesday’s favourite things, he told the 48-year-old host: ‘So, so many things. I mean, she’s kind of princess crazy as well, but she’s struggling a little bit with kind of adjusting to UK life.
‘She spent most of her time in America, so she’s missing some kind of cultural things,’ he continued, adding: ‘She does love Philly. She loves Hoagies. She loves water rides.’
‘The big one is Target,’ Rupert confessed, much to the laughter and applause of the studio audience.
Jimmy also admitted his kids ‘loved’ the shop, branding it ‘unbelievable’, with Rupert saying Wednesday would choose Target over going to the park.
‘She likes going to different Targets and kind of seeing how the layout is slightly different. And sometimes she doesn’t buy anything; she just wants to kind of browse.’
